High Efficiency 4 Head Planer Moulder For Producing High Volume Laminated Finger Joint Board
Four Side Planer VH-M416, VH-M418 and VH-M416GH have 4 heads with same motor power, there
are one left spindle, one right spindle, one upper spindle and one spindle on the bottom. Each spindles
have its own Motor, which can guarantee the power for cutting.
Body structure of both Planers is made of casting Iron, it has better wear resistance and shock
absorption. This provides a good basis for the smooth operation of the spindles and feeding system.
Both planer have hard chromed worktable which can minimize abrasion and enhance operational life
There pressing wheel mechanism for short materials in the front of the planer, ensuring the smooth
conveying of the short materials.
The only difference between VH-M416 and VH-M418 are their processing width, for VH-M416 can only
process materials no wider than 160mm, VH-M418 can process bigger materials with 180mm width. It
depends on what kinds of wood materials customer use. VH-M416 and VH-M418 use Inverter to feed,
speed range is 6-36m/min. While High speed moulder VH-M416GH can have speed up to 60 m/min,
high working speed dramatically increases production capacity, greatly reduce labor costs.

Common faults and troubleshooting methods of machine tools:
|Causes or troubleshooting|
1. Stop or obstruct in the middle of feeding
when no feeding or feeding wheel is allowed
A. Check circuit and motor;
B. Check whether the transmission pulley is working properly.
C. Check whether the flat key of the feeding reducer falls off.
D. Check whether the universal joint is bent or broken.
E. Check whether the pressure of feeding roll and the
concentration of pressing material are correct.
2. The whole feeding mechanism does not rise or fall
A. Check whether the lifting limit switch SQ2 SQ3 SQ4 (down)
SQ1 (up) is connected and whether the motor is out of phase.
B. Check whether the flat key of the elevator reducer is off or
C. Check whether the lifting nut is worn.
D. When the feeding beam meets the limit switch of the upper
cutter shaft seat, the upper cutter shaft can be lowered a little.
A. Check whether the bearing has been damaged
B. Check whether the knife is installed correctly
4. The motor can't start and there is a strange
noise when it starts.
A. Motor overload, (eliminating overload causes)
B. Phase-absent operation of motor
C. Relay failure (check relay)
5. The power indicator is not on, press the start
keys, and the motor does not start.
A. Check whether the main circuit is out of phase
B. Check whether the fuse FU is fused and whether the output
voltage of the transformer is 220V.
C. Check whether the emergency stop buttons SB11 and
SB12 are in the closed position and whether the overload
indicator HL11 is luminous.
